Background

Several people have asked where I got the cup holder that is visible in the pictures of the CB, so I thought I would share the story.

I was at the jeep dealer looking at tow hooks one day, when I saw a display with this cup holder. Since this is one feature that is saddly lacking from the XJ's console, I decided to get one. As far as I know, they should be available from any Jeep dealer.

Installation

The installation was pretty easy. It bolts right on, and it comes with the neccessary connector to relocate the switch for the power mirrors.

10/96 - My only grip about this product is that it doesn't hold the extra large cups from most fast-food places. Other than that it is great and well worth the cost.

It does interfere slightly with the parking brake operation. You can't get full deflection of the handle, but if your brake is adjusted properly, you shouldn't need to. It also makes it a little harder to grip the handle. If you have large hands, this might not be a good choice for you.
